Lautaro Martínez Brace Ensures Inter Milan on Tail of Frontrunners
Inter forward Lautaro Martínez scored a second-half brace to earn his side a 2-0 win at Pisa, keeping the away side very much engaged in the Italian league championship battle in spite of a somewhat shaky display.

Under Cristian Chivu, Inter currently are placed in third position in the standings with 27 points, level with runner-up Roma and only one point adrift of leaders Milan. Meanwhile, Pisa occupy the third bottom position with 10 points.

Villarreal’s scoring came from Ayoze Pérez shortly after the 30-minute mark and Alberto Moleiro in the 57th minute, but Carlos Soler quickly pulled one back and Ander Barrenetxea equalised three minutes from time. However, Moleiro had the last word late in stoppage time.
Later on Spanish fixture, Real Madrid travel to Girona requiring a win to return to the top above Barcelona, who recorded a 3-1 triumph over Alavés on the previous day.
