Jet Carrying US Defense Secretary Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The jet touched down in accordance with standard procedures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson stated in a social media post.

Hegseth was returning from a brief trip to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence isn't the first occasion that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has experienced equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was required to return to Washington DC after suffering a technical issue.
